"81% of employers now prioritise work experience over university degrees when assessing candidates. The question is no longer what your graduates studied — it's what they can certify."

— WEF Future of Jobs Report 2025
The employability gap

Everyone claims graduate readiness. Almost no one can prove it.

Every higher education institution develops transversal skills — critical thinking, teamwork, communication, adaptability. But when your graduates apply for jobs, they carry a degree and nothing that certifies what they actually know how to do.

Employers don't want claims. They want evidence. A transcript states what was taught. An official European credential certifies what was achieved.

The problem isn't what your university delivers. It's that without a recognised standard, the job market has no way to verify it.

The EASEC standard

One certification standard.
Four ways to apply it.

EASEC doesn't ask you to change what you teach. It certifies what you already deliver — turning existing competencies into internationally verifiable evidence aligned with ESCO, EQF, O*NET, CCS Singapore, WEF and Tuning. Because claiming graduate readiness and certifying it are not the same thing.

Four independent solutions. Your institution decides where to begin.

Competency data by programme, cohort and academic year — not impressions.

Access institutional analytics that show exactly which transversal competencies your programmes develop and where the gaps are — by degree, by cohort, by year. Use the data for programme reviews, curriculum adjustments and faculty conversations grounded in evidence. Every assessment is psychometrically validated and independently scored — the data is yours to act on, not to defend.

Employability & Careers Director

The first employability indicator that doesn't depend on graduate surveys.

Your graduates leave with a Europass Digital Credential and Open Badge 3.0 that any employer can verify in real time at cert.easec.eu — before the interview, during the hiring process, years later. Employability evidence that exists before employment does, not six months after graduation in a self-reported survey. The credential is co-branded with your institution and travels with the graduate for life.

Quality Assurance Coordinator

Objective, verifiable evidence for ANECA, ENQA and any accreditation body.

The official EASEC alignment report documents your programme's transversal competency outcomes against ESCO v1.2.1, EQF and Tuning standards — the type of evidence that accreditation bodies request most frequently and that internal evaluation methods cannot always supply. No additional administrative burden: EASEC technical support handles the documentation process throughout.

Everything your institution needs to know before adopting EASEC.

No. EASEC evaluates the transversal competencies your programmes already develop — it does not impose a curriculum redesign. The accreditation process maps what already exists, identifies alignment with ESCO, EQF, O*NET, CCS Singapore, WEF and Tuning, and provides a formal report with strengths, gaps and improvement recommendations. EASEC technical support facilitates all necessary documentation without generating additional operational load for your team.

The EASEC platform integrates with the most widely used learning management systems via LTI 1.3 and API. Students access assessments from the environment they already know, without needing to create additional accounts or manage separate platforms. Results and progress data synchronise automatically with the institutional system. Technical onboarding support is included throughout the integration process.

The official EASEC alignment report with ESCO, EQF, O*NET, CCS Singapore, WEF and Tuning is documentation directly usable in accreditation and renewal processes before ANECA, ENQA and equivalent bodies worldwide. It provides objective, verifiable evidence of transversal competency development — the type of evidence these bodies request most frequently and that internal evaluation methods cannot always supply.

Each certified graduate receives a Europass Digital Credential co-branded with your institution's logo and the EASEC seal, an Open Badge 3.0 shareable directly on LinkedIn, and a permanent personal EASEC account where all certifications accumulate throughout their career. Every credential includes a unique verification code and QR code, and can be confirmed instantly at cert.easec.eu — no account required, no cost. The credential is valid for three years and the verification record is never deleted.

Yes. EASEC operates in 60+ countries across Europe, Latin America, Asia-Pacific and the Middle East. Credentials are aligned with six international frameworks — ESCO, EQF, O*NET, CCS Singapore, WEF and Tuning — which means they are legible to any institution or employer that uses these references. The framework carries European rigour with global recognition: a graduate certified in Madrid, Lima or Manila carries the same verifiable credential. Universities in eligible regions may access special onboarding conditions.

The full process from initial application to issuance of the accreditation seal takes four to eight weeks, depending on the documentation available for the programme. EASEC provides technical support throughout the process to facilitate documentation without generating additional administrative load. The timeline includes an alignment review, a formal report and the issuance of the institutional accreditation seal.

EASEC operates on an annual institutional subscription model that scales according to the size and scope of the programmes accredited, with no upfront implementation fees and no charge per student certified. The model includes programme accreditation, the official alignment report, student certification, Europass digital credential issuance and dedicated technical support throughout the academic year. A detailed proposal tailored to your institution is provided after an initial consultation.

EASEC operates fully within the European regulatory framework: GDPR compliance for all student data, eIDAS 2.0 trust infrastructure for legally binding digital credentials, and EBSI compatibility for decentralised verification. Student data is hosted exclusively in European data centres, never transferred to non-adequate jurisdictions, and remains under the institution's control at all times. Each credential is verifiable in real time at cert.easec.eu without requiring an account or intermediary — guaranteeing portability and sovereignty for the credential holder throughout their career.
