Without one, every institution and employer measures its own way — or does not measure at all. EASEC gives the world a single, comparable standard for competencies, backed by evidence and issued as credentials anyone can verify.

EASEC is the European agency for the certification and accreditation of transversal competencies — soft skills — and employability. We assess with psychometric rigour and issue verifiable credentials recognised internationally.

Three funding lines, one standard
Financed with European cooperation and EASEC's own funds, so institutions and employers in any country can adopt the international standard for competencies. Support is always delivered as a subsidy — never as cash.
Accreditation of Programmes that Develop Competencies
This fund lets training institutions review the programmes through which they develop transversal competencies, benchmarking them against international best practice and the ESCO, EQF, Tuning and WEF frameworks. Programmes that reach at least 80% alignment earn an EASEC quality accreditation, confirming that their instructional design meets the highest international standards in skills development.
In the application, the institution states how many programmes it wishes to accredit and for how long (1, 2 or 3 years); this sets the institution's co-payment, with the subsidy covering 50% of the total.
Become an Official Certification Centre
This fund subsidises the process for training institutions to become Official Certification Centres. As a centre, you can use and distribute EASEC's internationally aligned certifications of competencies and professional profiles — within your own training or openly to the public — issuing them officially in Europass, Open Badge and Blockchain, always co-branded with the Official Certification Centre.
Official Certification Centres hold a minimum two-year standing in EASEC's global network, regardless of the volume or scope of certifications requested. The subsidy level depends on the scope requested; the review committee assigns the percentage, and price tiers and co-payment are set out in the application form.
EASEC Talent-First Employers
An international initiative for employers who hire based on people's real competencies — advancing talent, inclusion and fairness in recruitment. Participating companies join an international directory and receive a seal that recognises the practice. The benefit is competency evaluations at no cost, for the company to use in selection during one year.
In return, the company includes those competencies — and EASEC certifications as a desirable criterion — in its job offers.

In Lines 1 and 2, every subsidy carries a defined counterpart of dissemination — a concrete sign of commitment to a shared mission.

Higher education institutions, associations of educational institutions, educational networks, and governments or supra-governmental bodies can apply to Lines 1 and 2. Companies, chambers of commerce and business associations can apply to Line 3 (Talent-First Employers).

No. The benefit is always delivered as a subsidy on EASEC services. Associations and governments may receive a subsidy volume to distribute among eligible entities in their network — still as a subsidy, never as cash.
There is no fixed deadline. The window is open on a rolling basis, first come first served, until the funds are exhausted. Allocation begins in September 2026, so applying early maximises the coverage available.
