Certify your graduates.
Lead in employability.
The European standard for soft skills in higher education — turning the transversal competencies your institution already develops into verifiable, globally recognised evidence aligned with ESCO, EQF and WEF Future of Jobs 2025.
48%

86%

Your graduates have the soft skills. Certifying them is what makes the difference in higher education.
Institutions invest in developing transversal competencies. But without a recognised external framework to certify those outcomes, the evidence remains invisible — to employers, accreditation bodies, rankings, and international institutions.
A degree says where they studied. Grades say what they learnt. Neither says what they are truly capable of doing. EASEC does.
Book a DemoOne standard. Four solutions. Everything your institution needs.
Higher education institutions that lead in the 21st century don't just develop soft skills — they accredit and certify them. Four integrated solutions for transversal competencies in higher education, each addressing a distinct institutional need, each reinforcing the others.
Simple to adopt.
Designed to integrate with what you already do.
Three steps from competency alignment to verified digital credential.
Align competencies
Map the transversal competencies your programmes develop using the EASEC framework — aligned with ESCO, EQF and WEF Future of Jobs 2025. Accredit your programme and publish your verified institutional profile on easec.eu.
Certify with rigour
Students complete multilingual, psychometrically validated assessments providing external, internationally recognised evidence of their competency development — integrated with your LMS via LTI 1.3 and API.
Issue recognised credentials
Deliver Europass Digital Credentials to your graduates — verifiable, interoperable, and recognised by employers and institutions across Europe and beyond. Compatible with eIDAS 2.0 and EBSI trust infrastructures.
What changes when your institution certifies soft skills in higher education with EASEC.
Your quality assurance gains objective, verifiable evidence.
For the first time, your quality assurance processes include objective evidence of transversal competency development — not perceptions, not satisfaction surveys. The official alignment report with ESCO, EQF, Tuning and WEF is documentation you can present directly to accreditation bodies such as ANECA, ENQA, or their equivalents in any region.
Employability becomes external evidence, not a marketing claim.
Your graduates leave with verifiable soft skills credentials that any employer can check in real time. The first employability indicator in higher education that doesn't depend on graduate surveys — but on competencies certified before graduation.
A position no competitor can replicate with a communications redesign.
The EASEC seal and co-branded credentials of your graduates are concrete arguments against competing universities, international partners and employers evaluating programmes. The first programme in each market to adopt the European standard builds an unassailable position.
Institutional analytics that turn competency data into programme decisions.
Access to institutional competency analytics by student, degree and cohort. Real evidence to measure the impact of pedagogical interventions, identify gaps and make programme decisions based on data — comparable across years and groups.
This is for you.
Within every university, the decision to adopt a European standard for competency accreditation and certification involves more than one profile. EASEC for Higher Education answers the concrete questions of each decision-maker from their own function.
Where to start
The standard that backs
every accreditation and every credential.
Every EASEC instrument, assessment and credential is aligned with ESCO v1.2.1, the European Qualifications Framework (EQF), the Tuning methodology, WEF Future of Jobs 2025 and UNESCO recommendations for higher education.
EASEC operates in more than 60 countries, with over 3,425,000 people assessed in its global network. Institutional headquarters in Valencia, Spain, with active operations across Europe, Asia and Latin America.
The alignment is not declarative — it is documented. Every accredited institution receives an official report it can present to ANECA, ENQA and any external evaluation body.

No. EASEC evaluates the competencies your programmes already develop — it does not impose a curriculum redesign. The accreditation process maps what already exists in the programme, identifies alignment with ESCO, EQF and WEF, and provides a report with strengths, gaps and improvement recommendations. EASEC technical support facilitates all necessary documentation without generating additional operational load for your team.
The EASEC platform integrates with the most widely used learning management systems via LTI 1.3 and API. Students access assessments from the environment they already know, without needing to create additional accounts or manage separate platforms. Results and progress data synchronise automatically with the institutional system.
The official EASEC alignment report with ESCO, EQF and WEF is documentation directly usable in accreditation and renewal processes before ANECA, ENQA and equivalent bodies. It provides objective, verifiable evidence of transversal competency development — the type of evidence these bodies request most frequently and that internal evaluation methods cannot always supply.
Each certified graduate receives: a European Digital Credential issued in co-branding with your institution's name and identity; an Open Badge 3.0 shareable directly on LinkedIn; and a permanent, portable personal EASEC account where all certifications accumulate throughout their career. Credentials are verifiable in real time by any employer or institution at cert.easec.eu/certificates/verify.
Yes. EASEC operates in more than 60 countries with active presence in Europe, Asia and Latin America. Accreditation is available to institutions in any region. Universities in eligible regions may access special onboarding conditions. Please consult us before submitting your application.
The full process from initial application to issuance of the accreditation seal takes an estimated 4 to 8 weeks, depending on the documentation available for the programme. EASEC provides technical support throughout the process to facilitate documentation without generating additional administrative load.
EASEC operates on an annual institutional subscription model that scales according to the size and scope of the programmes accredited, with no upfront implementation fees and no charge per student certified. The model includes programme accreditation, the official ESCO/EQF/WEF alignment report, student certification, Europass digital credential issuance and dedicated technical support throughout the academic year. Institutions in eligible regions may access special onboarding conditions. A detailed proposal tailored to your institution is provided after an initial consultation.
EASEC operates fully within the European regulatory framework: GDPR compliance for all student data, eIDAS 2.0 trust infrastructure for legally binding digital credentials, and EBSI compatibility for decentralised verification. Student data is hosted exclusively in European data centres, never transferred to non-adequate jurisdictions, and remains under the institution's control at all times. Each credential issued is verifiable in real time at cert.easec.eu without requiring an account or intermediary — guaranteeing portability and sovereignty for the credential holder throughout their career. The full data protection framework is detailed in the institutional onboarding documentation.
