"91% of school leaders say their institution develops transversal skills. Only 14% can demonstrate it with verifiable evidence to third parties."
— European Commission / JRC, 2023 Every school says it.
Almost none can prove it.
Schools develop critical thinking, teamwork, communication and leadership every day — in every classroom, every project, every interaction between teachers and students.
But when a student applies to university or a first job, none of that is visible. Grades measure knowledge. They don't show who a student is, what they can do, or what they're capable of becoming.

One standard.
Four ways to use it.
EASEC doesn't ask you to change what you teach. It documents what you already achieve — and turns it into internationally verifiable evidence aligned with ESCO, EQF and the WEF Future of Jobs.
Four independent solutions. Your school decides where to begin.
Acredite a sua instituição
Your school already works on transversal skills. What is missing is the framework that makes that effort visible. EASEC reviews your programme and issues a European accreditation seal aligned with ESCO, EQF and WEF.

EASEC certifies 35 transversal competencies — including critical thinking, communication, teamwork, adaptability, leadership and digital competence — through psychometrically validated assessments designed specifically for students aged 12 to 18. Each competency is assessed at one of five proficiency levels aligned with the European Qualifications Framework (EQF 1–3). The result is not a course completion certificate — it is an independently verified competency profile backed by a Europass Digital Credential and an Open Badge 3.0, both verifiable in real time by any university or employer worldwide.
No. EASEC does not prescribe what you teach or how you teach it. The process maps your existing programme — whether it is a standalone skills subject, a mentoring programme, project-based learning or an extracurricular initiative — against ESCO v1.2.1, EQF and WEF Future of Jobs standards, and documents the alignment. Schools that have no formal skills programme can adopt the EASEC recommended curriculum, but this is entirely optional. The goal is to make visible what your institution already achieves, not to redesign it.
Most school-level skills programmes issue internal certificates or badges that carry no external validation and are not recognised beyond the institution that issued them. EASEC credentials are Europass Digital Credentials — the official EU credential format, cryptographically signed under eIDAS 2.0 and verifiable by any university, employer or public body across 60+ countries. The assessment itself is psychometrically validated, not a self-assessment or teacher observation. And the framework is aligned with ESCO, EQF, O*NET, CCS Singapore, WEF and Tuning — not a proprietary model that exists only within its own ecosystem.
Each student receives three things: a Europass Digital Credential co-branded with your school's logo and the EASEC seal, an Open Badge 3.0 shareable on LinkedIn and compatible with any digital wallet, and a personal EASEC account where all certifications accumulate throughout their academic and professional life. Every credential includes a unique verification code and QR code, and can be confirmed instantly at cert.easec.eu — no account required, no cost. The credential is valid for three years and the verification record is never deleted.
Yes. EASEC operates in 60+ countries across Europe, Latin America, Asia-Pacific and the Middle East. Credentials are aligned with six international frameworks — ESCO, EQF, O*NET, CCS Singapore, WEF Future of Jobs and Tuning — which means they are legible to any institution or employer that uses these references. Europass Digital Credentials are formally recognised across all EU member states, and Open Badges 3.0 are accepted on LinkedIn and any standards-based credential platform worldwide. A student certified in Madrid, Lima or Manila carries the same verifiable credential.
Four weeks from first contact to first student certified. In week one, EASEC maps your existing programme against international standards. In weeks two and three, students complete a 15-minute online assessment — available in seven languages, accessible from any device. In week four, credentials are issued automatically. Your school's operational burden is minimal: EASEC manages the technical setup, the assessment platform and the credential issuance. No IT infrastructure, no training for teachers and no administrative overhead beyond coordinating the assessment schedule.
All four EASEC for Schools solutions — programme accreditation, student certification, vocational guidance and teacher certification — are fully independent. Your school can start with any one of them and expand at any point. Most schools begin with student certification or programme accreditation, and add teacher certification or vocational guidance in subsequent academic years. There is no obligation to adopt the full suite, and each solution operates on its own timeline and pricing structure.
Beyond individual student credentials, EASEC provides institutional analytics at three levels: individual competency profiles showing each student's strengths and development areas, cohort reports aggregating results by year group or programme for quality assurance and internal reporting, and longitudinal data tracking competency development across academic years. All data is GDPR compliant, processed within the European Economic Area and available through the cert.easec.eu administration panel. Schools use this data for parent communication, accreditation reviews, institutional improvement plans and differentiation in admissions marketing.
Your school already develops these competencies. The question is whether anyone outside your walls can verify it.
