Vocational Guidance
Ikigai-Based Vocational Guidance for Secondary Schools
A 48-item psychometrically validated assessment that helps students discover their purpose, strengths and vocational direction — generating individual reports for students and families, and aggregate data for guidance counsellors, aligned with WEF Future of Jobs 2025.
WHY VOCATIONAL GUIDANCE MATTERS
Most Students Choose Their Future Without Objective Evidence About Themselves
Vocational decisions made during secondary school have long-term consequences — but most guidance processes rely on subjective impressions, generic career tests or academic performance alone. Students and families need objective, evidence-based tools that reflect who the student genuinely is — not just what they have studied.

THE EASEC IKIGAI ASSESSMENT
What Is the EASEC Ikigai Vocational Assessment?
The EASEC Ikigai assessment is a 48-item psychometrically validated tool based on the four dimensions of the Ikigai framework — what students love, what they are good at, what the world needs and what can be valued professionally. The result is an objective, evidence-based vocational profile that helps students understand their direction and helps counsellors and families support better-informed decisions.

What You Love
Explores the student’s genuine interests, passions and areas of intrinsic motivation — what energises them and drives voluntary engagement.

What You Are Good At
Identifies the student’s perceived strengths, natural abilities and areas of confident performance — independent of academic grades.

What the World Needs
Maps the student’s values, sense of purpose and awareness of social and professional contribution — aligned with WEF Future of Jobs 2025 career pathways and emerging labour market demands.

What Can Be Valued
Explores the student’s relationship with professional recognition, economic sustainability and their understanding of how their profile connects to real-world opportunities.
HOW IT WORKS
From Assessment to Actionable Vocational Insight — in Three Steps
EASEC Student Certification is built for the operational reality of universities and higher education institutions — not retrofitted from a consumer or corporate product.
School Assigns the Assessment

The school assigns the Ikigai assessment to students through the EASEC platform. Each student receives a personalised access link by email — completing the 48 items independently on any digital device, or together with their guidance counsellor in a facilitated session.
Student Completes the 48-Item Assessment

The student responds to 48 psychometrically validated items covering the four Ikigai dimensions. The assessment takes approximately 20 minutes and is available in all 7 EASEC languages — accessible from any device, at school or at home.
Reports Generated — for Students, Families and the School

Upon completion, three outputs are generated automatically:
- Individual report for the student — digital and PDF downloadable — showing their Ikigai profile, key insights and suggested disciplinary areas aligned with WEF Future of Jobs 2025.
- Family report — the same individual report shared with parents or guardians to support informed vocational conversations at home.
- Aggregate institutional data — cohort and year-group level insights for the guidance team, enabling pattern identification and programme planning.
WHAT THE REPORT INCLUDES
A Complete Vocational Profile — Not Just a Score
The EASEC Ikigai report goes beyond a simple result. It provides students, families and counsellors with a structured, actionable profile that supports genuine vocational conversations — available as an interactive digital report and a downloadable PDF.
Ikigai Profile Visualisation
A clear visual representation of the student’s four Ikigai dimensions — showing balance, dominant areas and zones of alignment between what they love, what they are good at, what the world needs and what can be valued.
Key Vocational Insights
Narrative interpretation of the student’s profile — highlighting dominant strengths, areas of purpose alignment and potential tensions between dimensions that guidance counsellors can use to facilitate deeper conversations.
Suggested Disciplinary Areas
Based on the student’s Ikigai profile, the report suggests broad disciplinary areas — sciences, humanities, technology, social sciences, arts — aligned with WEF Future of Jobs 2025 emerging career pathways. No specific careers are prescribed — the focus is on informed exploration.
Aggregate School Data
The school receives cohort and year-group level data — aggregate Ikigai profiles, dominant dimensions across the student population and pattern insights to inform guidance programme planning and institutional strategy.
WHO IT'S FOR
Designed for Three Audiences — Student, Family and School

Students
Secondary and pre-university students — particularly in years where vocational decisions are most critical — who need objective, evidence-based insight into their strengths, interests and vocational direction beyond what academic performance reveals.

Families
Parents and guardians who want to support their child’s vocational decisions with objective data — not assumptions. The family report provides the same individual profile in an accessible format designed to facilitate informed conversations at home.

Guidance Counsellors and School Leadership
Guidance teams that want to replace subjective impressions with psychometrically validated evidence — and school leadership that wants aggregate data to inform programme planning, identify student population patterns and strengthen institutional strategy.
